    ► Bain Capital agreed to acquire Taiwan-founded bubble tea chain Gong Cha from TA Associates and others for USD635m+. #Asia

     

    ► IDG Capital led a USD600m Series A for Dogotix, the China-based humanoid robotics unit of XPeng. #Asia

     

    ► Matrix Partners led a ~USD445m Series B for Tripo AI, a China-based AI-powered 3D modeling platform developed by VAST, with participation from INCE Capital, CDH Investments, CICC Capital and others. #Asia

     

    ► Africa Finance Corporation and Vision Invest agreed to invest a combined USD300m in WIOCC Group, a Mauritius-based carrier-neutral digital infrastructure platform operating across more than 30 African countries. #Africa

     

    ► ePointZero agreed to acquire a 90% stake in Azura Power, an Africa-based power generation platform, from Actis and Africa50, with founding partner Amaya Capital retaining a 10% stake. #Africa

     

    ► Andreessen Horowitz led a USD87m Series C for Félix Pago, a remittances platform serving Latin Americans in the US, with participation from QED Investors, Castle Island Ventures, Switch Ventures, Contour Venture Partners and Endeavor Catalyst. General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund provided a USD113m credit facility. #LatinAmerica

     

    ► Kedaara Capital invested USD200m in Tynor Orthotics, an India-based orthopaedic supports, mobility aids and rehabilitation products company, facilitating an exit for Lighthouse Funds. #Asia

     

    ► CAF-AM Uruguay and CAF provided USD178m in financing for Infraestructura Agua Metropolitana, a Uruguay-based water infrastructure concessionaire, to support the design, construction and maintenance of metropolitan water infrastructure. #LatinAmerica

     

    ► Toesca, through Toesca Infraestructura SS FI, agreed to acquire a ~64% stake in Suralis, a Chile-based water utility, from Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. for USD126.5m, plus a potential earnout of up to USD1.5m. #LatinAmerica

     

    ► An unnamed strategic investor led a USD120m Series C for AusperBio, a China- and US-based biopharmaceutical company, with participation from RA Capital Management, HanKang Capital, Sherpa Capital, InnoPinnacle Fund, Qiming Venture Partners and others. #Asia

     

    ► Greenoaks led a USD37m Series A for Airbound, an India-based aerospace company developing autonomous aircraft, with participation from DoorDash, Lachy Groom, Lightspeed and Humba Ventures. #Asia

     

    ► Mizuho Asia Partners led a USD26m investment in Modern Village Lifestyle, a Vietnam-based hospitality company. #Asia

     

    ► Amethis-backed Fidence acquired MITCO, a Mauritius- and Seychelles-based corporate, fiduciary and fund administration services company, from CIEL Finance. #Africa

    ► Afore Coppel agreed to acquire Invercap, a Mexico-based retirement fund manager, for MXN4.62b (~USD271.8m) from Advent International and other shareholders. #LatinAmerica

     

    ► General Atlantic-backed SHEIN, a Singapore-based, Chinese-founded online fast-fashion retailer, raised HKD13.6b (~USD1.74b) through its IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. #Asia

     

    ► TPG partially exited Aster DM Quality Care, an India-based healthcare provider, for INR44.51b (~USD470.7m) through the sale of a 6.66% stake in open-market transactions. #Asia

     

    ► Ribbit Capital and Y Combinator partially exited Groww, an India-based investment platform, for INR22.17b (~USD234.4m) and INR14.35b (~USD151.8m), respectively. #Asia

     

    ► Temasek-backed Shiprocket, an India-based e-commerce shipping and logistics platform, raised INR16.2b (~USD168.9m) through its IPO, with Lightrock, Tribe Capital, March Capital and others partially exiting through share sales. #Asia

     

    ► CEECAT Capital agreed to exit Hermann Müller Medizintechnik, a Germany-based medical technology company with operations in Turkey, via a sale to STERIS. #CEE

     

    FUNDRAISING

    ► Avallon reached a EUR171.5m (~USD200m) first close for Avallon MBO Fund IV, focused on management buyouts and investments alongside managers and founders of family businesses across Poland and Central & Eastern Europe. #CEE

     

    ► Mamor Capital Ventures reached a ZAR300m (~USD18.7m) first close for Fund I, focused on post-revenue technology companies in South Africa. The vehicle has a ZAR550m (~USD34.3m) target. #Africa

     

    PEOPLE & FIRMS

    ► JICA and the IDB Group expanded their CORE co-financing framework for Latin America and the Caribbean from USD4b to USD5b. They extended the program through 2031, adding agriculture and critical minerals as priority sectors. #LatinAmerica
