► Blackstone has completed its buyout of Quality Care India (QCIL), the holding company of CARE Hospitals, for INR48b (~USD580m). TPG’s Evercare platform will continue to hold a 27.5% stake. In a separate deal, QCIL will acquire an 80% stake in KimsHealth, valuing the quaternary care hospital network at INR33b (~USD400m). #Asia
► Ares Management invested USD100m in Vinci Partners through a convertible shares issuance. Ares and Vinci will collaborate in cross-boder fundraising and co-branded product opportunities in Brazil and the rest of Latin America as part of the initiative. #LatinAmerica
► Mubadala Capital acquired a 10% stake in Atvos (formerly Odebrecht Agroindustrial), a Brazil-based ethanol and cane-based fuel producer, from petrochemical conglomerate Grupo Novonor. #LatinAmerica
► Lightspeed Venture Partners led a USD50m Series B for Singapore-based travel wallet and currency exchange platform YouTrip. #Asia
► Navegar led a USD34m Series C for Inteluck, a Singapore-based supply chain solutions provider, with participation from East Ventures. #Asia
► CCB Private Equity Investment and Yuexiu Industrial Investment Fund led a CNY200m (~USD27.3m) Series B for SONOSEMI, a China-based manufacturer of medical devices for the pan-vascular clinical field, with participation from Shenzhen Costone Venture Capital, as well as follow-on from Alwin Capital, Eight Roads Ventures and Tencent. #Asia
► Bain Capital made a BRL100m (~USD19.9m) follow-on investment in Bionexo, a Brazil-based medical supply marketplace. Bain Capital previously invested BRL340m (~USD68m) in October 2021. #LatinAmerica
FUNDRAISING
► BaltCap reached a first close for its second infrastructure fund focused on renewable power generation, energy demand reduction and transport infrastructure investments in the Baltics and Poland. The vehicle has a EUR200m (~USD212.3m) target. #CEE
► BluePeak Private Capital reached a USD156m final close for its inaugural fund providing structured debt to homegrown businesses in Africa. #Africa
► XP Asset Management raised BRL402m (~USD79.8m) towards its BRL800m (~USD159m) target for Sports Media Futebol Brasileiro, a FIP that will invest in the media rights of 26 sports clubs in Brazil. #LatinAmerica
