#DealCases

Investing in Women-NW (1)

GPCA and Investing in Women (IW) partnered to promote gender lens investing (GLI) among capital providers and fund managers across Southeast Asia by highlighting successful women-led investments. In "When Women Lead: Entrepreneurial Case Studies from Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia," we delve into women-led businesses in these countries, showcasing their strengths, innovations and achievements. The case studies feature:

► Navegar’s investment in MDI Novare, a Philippines-based IT company specializing in custom application development, infrastructure, data analytics and IT security solutions for businesses and the public sector.

► Monk’s Hill Ventures and Vietnam Investments Group’s investment in ELSA Speak, a Vietnam-based mobile application that utilizes machine learning, artificial intelligence and advanced speech recognition technology to enhance English communication skills.

► AC Ventures’ investment in Astro Technologies, an Indonesia-based online platform offering on-demand delivery services for groceries, including ready-to-eat meals, fresh produce, snacks, household items, personal care products and medicines.

Through these case studies, GPCA and IW aim to inspire further investment in women-led enterprises and demonstrate the potential of gender lens investing in driving economic growth in the region.
