GPCA's first Asia Members Meeting of 2025 featured a presentation and fireside chat with Dr. Ridha D. M. Wirakusumah, CEO of the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA). Dr. Ridha shared updates on INA's progress in driving investment across key sectors such as Transport & Infrastructure, Digital Innovation, Food & Agriculture, Green Energy and Healthcare, highlighting INA's role in shaping Indonesia's economic future by attracting private capital into high-impact areas.

 

The event also marked the launch of GPCA's inaugural Southeast Asia Women Investors Directory, developed in partnership with Investing in Women. A panel discussion featuring Susli Lie from Monk's Hill Ventures, Jannie Tsuei from TVM Capital and Hannah Birdsey from Investing in Women explored how fund managers and institutional investors can leverage this new resource. The meeting concluded with a reception celebrating the directory's launch, bringing together women investors from across the region.

GPCA's recent networking reception in Singapore brought together industry leaders and investment professionals and featured the debut of the Southeast Asia Women Investors Directory. Developed in collaboration with Investing in Women, an Australian Government initiative, the directory showcases 365 women investment professionals actively deploying private capital across various sectors in Southeast Asia. The event also included an insightful panel discussion on the region's investment landscape, underscoring GPCA's commitment to advancing diversity in the private capital sector.

► India-based eyecare provider Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care raised USD347m through an IPO on the NSE and BSE, facilitating partial exits for TPG and Temasek. #Asia

 

► Diagnostyka, a Poland-based provider of medical diagnostic services backed by MidEuropa, raised EUR400m (~USD413m) through an IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. #CEE

 

► ACON Investments exited Vitalis, a Colombia-based manufacturer of injectable pharmaceutical products, via a strategic sale to Laboratorios Sanfer, a Mexico-based pharmaceutical company. #LatinAmerica

 

► Southern Cross Group agreed to exit ATRIA, a Latin America-based port services and river transportation group, via a sale to Rocktree Logistics Group, a global infrastructure service provider. #LatinAmerica
