► India-based NBFC Piramal Finance raised USD350m, with USD200m from IFC and USD150m from the Asian Development Bank. #Asia

 

► IDG Capital and Walden International led a CNY2b (~USD286.3m) investment in BrainCo, a China-based developer of brain-computer interface products, with participation from Lens Technology, Omnivision Integrated Circuits Group and others. #Asia

 

► BlueFive Capital led a USD230m investment in Mal, a UAE-based Islamic digital bank. #MiddleEast

 

► ChrysCapital agreed to acquire a stake in India-based manufacturing solutions provider Nash Industries for USD150m. #Asia

 

► Warburg Pincus agreed to acquire a 41.09% stake in India-based hotel chain Lemon Tree Hotels for INR9.6b (~USD106.4m). #Asia

 

► Advent International led a Series C for Skyone, a Brazil-based software company specializing in cloud computing, data and AI solutions. #LatinAmerica

 

► China-based nuclear fusion company Startorus Fusion raised CNY1b (~USD143m) led by CICC Capital, Shanghai STVC Group, Shanghai Future-Oriented Industries Fund and Shanghai Jiading Technology Investment Group, with participation from BOC Asset Management, Morning Star Capital and others. #Asia

 

► Blackstone acquired a 50% stake in India-based hotel Taj Aravali Resort & Spa for ~USD105m. #Asia

 

► Pacific Alliance Ventures invested in Cast AI, a Lithuania-based application performance automation platform, at a reported USD1b+ valuation. #CEE


► SPX Capital agreed to invest BRL400m (~USD74.3m) in Vision, a Brazil-based cybersecurity company. #LatinAmerica

 

► Premji Invest led a USD30m Series A for Emversity, an India-based higher-education embedded training and employability platform, with participation from Lightspeed and Z47. #Asia

 

► Horizon Capital led a USD22m investment in HOLYWATER, a Ukraine-based streaming service powered by AI, with participation from Endeavor Catalyst and Wheelhouse. #CEE

 

► Flooss, a Bahrain-based provider of Sharia-compliant digital financing solutions, secured a USD22m credit facility from Shorooq Partners. #MiddleEast

 

► Transition VC led a INR300m (~USD3.3m) equity and debt round for GreenTech, an India-based wind turbine operations and maintenance company. #Asia

 

► Tacirler Asset Management led a USD6.6m pre-Series A for Turkey-based digital analytics platform Dataroid, with participation from Endeavor Catalyst and others. #CEE

 

► Indonesia-based fruit and vegetable producer Beleaf raised a Series A+ from Openspace Ventures and others. #Asia

 

► Jasoor Ventures led a USD7.5m investment in eMushrif, an Oman-based provider of AI- and IoT-powered school management solutions, with participation from Annex Investment, Ithca Group and IDO Investment, as well as follow-on from Phaze Ventures. #MiddleEast

 

FUNDRAISING  

► Amethis reached a EUR406m (~USD471.8m) final close for its third fund focused on investing in SMEs across Africa. #Africa

 

► Affirma Capital reached a first close for its climate transition fund focused on mid-market investments in renewable energy, circular economy, waste/water and transport sectors across Indonesia. #Asia

 

► Value4Capital reached a EUR127.8m (~USD148.7m) final close for its second Poland Plus Fund focused on middle-market companies in Poland as well as other Central and Eastern European countries. #CEE

 

► Inside Capital Partners reached a USD72.2m final close for its second equity fund focused on investing in SMEs across Southeast Africa. #Africa

 

► BBVA committed USD250m to ALTÉRRA's climate co-investment vehicle, focused on investments across energy transition, industrial decarbonization, climate tech and sustainable living in North America, Latin America and Europe. #LatinAmerica

 

► Alta Semper Capital secured USD57.5m for its second growth fund, with USD37.5m from the EIB Group and USD20m from IFC. The vehicle is focused on healthcare and consumer businesses across Africa. #Africa

 

► DEG invested USD50m in DPI’s fourth African Development Partners fund, focused on mid-size companies in industries such as healthcare, education, FMCG, retail, financial services, transport and logistics across Africa. #Africa

 

► Patria and Lexington Capital assumed management of AgroFibra, a real estate platform focused on the agro-industrial and industrial sectors across Mexico. #LatinAmerica

 

► DEG agreed to invest USD25m in Vivriti Asset Management's asset-backed securitization fund, focused on investing in SMEs and women entrepreneurs across India. #Asia
