▸ Colombia-based delivery platform Rappi raised USD100m in debt financing from Banco Santander and Kirkoswald Capital Partners.

 

▸ Riverwood Capital led a USD35m round for AgendaPro, a Latin America-focused management software for beauty salons, physicians, and sports centers.

 

▸ USV and Ribbit Capital led a USD18m round for Somos Internet, a Colombia-based active fiber high-speed internet provider.

  • Somos raised a USD13.4m seed round in 2023 from KASZEK, NAZCA, K50 and Arrive Ventures. 

▸ Canary and Indicator Capital led a USD12m Series A for Axenya, a Brazilian monitoring system for chronic diseases, with participation from Zentynel Frontier Investments. 

  • Zentynel invested in 2024; Axenya raised another USD3m in 2021. 

▸ Yolo Investments led a USD10m Series A for Digitt, a Mexico-based credit card debt refinancing platform, with participation from IGNIA Partners, Capria Ventures, and follow-on from Clocktower Ventures, Gilgamesh Ventures, Yes VC, New Stack Ventures, FJ Labs and Polymath Ventures.

 

▸ Blockchange Venture Capital led a USD6.7m seed round for Kira, a global payments infrastructure platform, with participation from Stellar Development Foundation, Vamos Ventures and Grit Ventures, for expansion into Colombia. 

 

▸ Valor Capital Group led a ~USD5.9m round for Iniciador, a Brazilian PIX infrastructure provider, with participation from big bets, Alter Global, Actyus and Norte Ventures.

 

▸ FOODTECH | Mahta, a Brazilian powdered foods startup, raised ~USD3.7m from the Amazon Biodiversity Fund. 

 

▸Headline led a ~USD3.7m round for VAAS, a Brazilian fraud monitoring platform, with participation from ABSeed and Honey Island Capital. 

 

▸ PROPTECH |  Headline led a ~USD2.8m round for Pipeimob, a Brazilian real estate management platform.

 

▸ PROPTECH |  SaaSholic led a USD2.2m seed round for Liquid, a Brazilian credit analysis platform for the real estate market, with participation from Flourish Ventures, Honey Island Capital and Crivo Ventures.

 

▸ Black Mamba Holding raised a USD2m pre-seed round for AlphaGo, a Brazilian marketing management software.

 

▸ Wollef led a USD2m seed round for Kunzapp, a Chile-and Mexico-based software spending management platform, with participation from Hustle Fund, Wayra, Fen Ventures, Tantauco Ventures and Byx Ventures. 

 

▸ HEALTHTECH | Afya led a ~USD1.5m pre-seed round for Marisa.Care, a Brazilian hospital management platform. 

 

▸ IDB Lab invested USD1.5m in Aviva, a Mexican biometrics-based microcredit platform for communities in city peripheries.

  • Aviva raised a USD5.5m seed round in January 2024; Wollef led a USD2.2m pre-seed round in September 2023.

▸ Salkantay Ventures and Alaya Capital led a USD1.4m round for Equip, a Peruvian e-commerce platform for construction materials.

 

▸ HEALTHTECH | Motivia, an Argentine app for chronic disease management, raised a USD1.2m pre-seed round from Alaya Capital, Sancor Seguros Ventures, Don't Quit Ventures and Malbec Ventures.

 

▸ Parceiro Ventures led a USD1m round for Whalemate, an Argentine cybersecurity platform.

 

▸ ABSeed led a ~USD920k round for Omnik, a Brazilian e-commerce solutions platform.

 

▸ FOODTECH | Zavii led a ~USD740k round for LUCIA, a Brazilian brand of non-alcoholic beverages.

 

▸ ABSeed led a ~USD550k round for Harumi, a Brazilian operations research platform, with participation from Tractian and Daniel Arbix (Google Brazil).

 

▸ FOODTECH | Investidores.vc led a ~USD370k round for Snacks do Johnny, a Brazilian producer of healthy snacks. 

 

▸ Headline invested in Mercado de Recebíveis, a Brazilian card receivables startup. 

 

▸ HiPartners invested in Musique, a Brazilian audio generation platform. 

 

▸ InHire, a Brazilian recruitment platform, raised an undisclosed round from DGF Investimentos, Bridge One and Endeavor Scale-Up Ventures.


▸ HEALTHECH | Buenaonda, a venture fund backed by the founders of Cornershop, invested in Gokei, a Chilean automation platform for medical expense reimbursements.

▸ CLIMATE | Wisconsin-based Working Capital for Community Needs, a US-based nonprofit impact investor, made an undisclosed commitment to Amazonia Impact Ventures, a climate-focused fund with a USD25m target to back Indigenous and forest-based founders in the Amazon. 

 

▸ MKF Ventures and Cube Ventures launched Meridian75, a USD20m flagship fund to invest in pre-seed and seed stage startups in Colombia and Peru.

    ▸ Seedstars and CAF launched the 2025 Laboratorio de Inclusión Financiera (LIF), an accelerator program to back tech solutions that reduce financial and digital inclusion gaps in rural communities across Latin America.  Applications are open until 7 September 2025.

     

    ▸ Antler is closing applications for its founder residency on 12 September 2025 and is inviting last applications from early-stage entrepreneurs across Latin America. 


    ▸ Overboost, a Latin American innovation studio, launched SPEED, a venture program aimed at linking regional corporates with startups to drive open innovation.
