DEAL CASE

Lafise | InnovaBlends

    InnovaBlends2

In April 2022, Lafise Investment Management (LIM) invested in InnovaBlends, a Costa Rica-based manufacturer and distributor of nutritious powdered beverages, providing a cost-effective alternative to traditional milk powder for low-income households.

With LIM's support, InnovaBlends strengthened internal operations, conducted multiple strategic hires, expanded its product lines and grew its reach to over 1,000 commercial outlets across the region. The company also enhanced its sustainability practices — completing its first greenhouse gas inventory in 2023, implementing resource monitoring systems and recycling 100% of its waste by 2024. Additionally, LIM supported InnovaBlends with gender equity initiatives, including gender trainings and hiring a consultancy to improve workplace policies.
