DEAL CASE

Positive Ventures | Ruuf

Ruuf

Positive Ventures invested in Ruuf, a Chile-based solar energy marketplace that connects homeowners, solar panel installers and lenders through an integrated online platform, in July 2022.

Since Positive’s investment, Ruff has scaled its installation capacity in preparation for cross-border expansion. From 2023 to 2024, Ruuf experienced 4x sales growth due to increased electricity tariffs, which encouraged homeowners to transition toward solar energy. As of 2025, Ruuf has installed over 5 MW of residential solar capacity, helping clients avoid 3,000+ tons of CO2e emissions and save USD2m+ in total energy costs.
