New Report Release: Private Credit Outlook

GPCA’s latest report explores private credit investment trends beyond the US and Western Europe, incorporating perspectives from members of GPCA’s Private Credit Council, as covered in the Financial Times.

The report features a first-of-its-kind dataset of key deal metrics from 153 transactions to compare risk-return dynamics in Asia, Latin America, Africa, CEE and the Middle East (GPCA markets) and the US, respectively.

Highlights include:

►  Private credit investments in GPCA markets reached USD18b in disclosed deal value through Q3 2025, exceeding all annual totals on record.

►  Latin America and Asia have driven the majority of disclosed deal activity, accounting for 45% and 38% respectively of capital deployed since 2021.

►  Private capital deals in GPCA markets exhibit lower leverage levels, better interest coverage ratios and shorter duration than US counterparts – while generating higher gross yields.

GPCA and Investing in Women (IW) partnered to spotlight fund managers advancing gender equity in Southeast Asia in a series of case studies. Navis Capital Partners, one of the region’s earliest institutional private equity firms, manages over USD5b across private equity and private credit and formally integrated gender into its investment process in 2020. What began as a focus on ESG risk management has evolved into a strategy that uses ESG and gender considerations to drive value creation, particularly in sectors like healthcare and education, where women represent a large share of the workforce and where diversity offers clear commercial benefits.

Recap: Q4 Asia Members Meeting & Reception

4 December | Singapore

GPCA hosted its last Asia Members Meeting of the year, exploring the opportunities and realities of an “Asia for Asia” landscape with insights from Wei Hsien Chan of SeaTown Holdings, Yee Hean Teo of the Asian Development Bank, Alberta Ngan of KKR and Morgan Stark of S-RM.

GPCA Q4 Asia Members Meeting 2025 panel-1-1

Key takeaways:

►  Capital allocations to Asia lag the region’s scale and growth, with significant Asian capital still flowing to developed markets. The key will be Asian LPs redirecting more of this capital back to the region.

►  Intra-Asia capital flows are rising as Asian LPs step in to fill the gap left by declining US investor activity. Sustaining momentum will require deeper participation from larger LPs.

►  Private credit and the healthcare, climate and digital infrastructure sectors continue to show resilience despite broader market volatility.
